    Specs:
    27" iMac i5, 3.2 GHz, iPad 3, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6+, 3 iPods, Yosemite
    All normal responses when repairing permissions. Is there a question that you have otherwise about the machine being slow? Have you tried using a maintenance cleanup utility? The recommended one to use is OnyX. It's free. Just follow directions.

    Do you have enough RAM?
    Do you have enough free space on your HDD?
    64GB iPhone 6, 64GB iPad Air 2.

    Helps enormously if you actually tell us about your computer. See MYmacROX's signature?
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    Reinstallde OS. Now everything works.
