I recently bought a Kobo Ereader not knowing that my iMac is not compatible. I have a 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X 10.4.11. I was told I need to upgrade to Snow Leopard which is not available in stores anymore. I ordered it online and when I tried to install it got the error message that I don't have enough Ram. I tried to get Ram at the Apple Store but was told that memory is no longer available for my model.
Any suggestions??

owc or crucial for ram. get 2 gb for it and you will be fine. i have the same imac and snow leopard runs just fine on it and seems faster than tiger. check craigslist or ebay for a retail disc since the apple store no longer has them and the online apple store is out of stock with a 3 week wait to get one.
