I recently purchased a Mac Book Air. LOVE IT. Bad news? It was stolen last night. I had transferred all of my info from my old mac book pro to the air via an external hard drive. Unfortunately when I transferred it, it moved it vs. copied it so they are no longer on the external hard drive.
That being said, I had done a full backup of my mac book pro about 3 weeks ago using .mac's old Backup 3 program. I was so happy to find this backup, but when I tried to restore it, it says it is an "incomplete backup package". However, when I choose "Get Info" on the file, it shows that the file size is 258GB. So I would think that everything MUST be in there. Right??
The question is... how can I extract my files from this "incomplete backup package"?? Is it possible? I hope to god.
