    Boot sequence
    Does anyone know how to swap out the grey apple logo boot screen with the text report boot sequence (think linux startup screen) I did it on me ole MBP & found it useful. Thanks in advance!!

    Welcome to the Mac Forums.

    That's known as booting in verbose mode. See the follow LINK for instructions on how to boot in verbose mode one time or make your Mac boot that way each time.

    "Verbose mode" excellent..... I spent a day 1/2 sifting google and still didn't come close. Thanks chscag!!
