    Downloading problem!!
    Sorry to start a new tread but i can't find the solution to my problem.

    I have a imac and as of this morning when trying to download anything i get i blank web page iv e reset safari with no luck,

    I have the following system

    Model Name: iMac
    Model Identifier: iMac10,1
    Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 3.06 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 3 MB
    Memory: 4 GB

    2013 MBA 13" - OS X 10.10.5
    Can you share the URL with us so we can test .... may be something wrong with the site itself, not with Safari.

    Iv e tried many sites with the same results.i even tried firefox and could not download that,The page is black!!

    Specs:
    2012 13" MBP (2.5 i5, 8GB)
    Have you installed a download manager and uninstalled it? If so, it may have been uninstalled improperly. Re-download it, reinstall it and uninstall it properly using the included uninstaller.

    I did and was thinking it caused the problem, I did not remove it correctly.

    Thanks vansmith, i uninstalled the program and reset safari and it works again thanks for the info,i better remember this one!!

    Not Speed Download? It is a woeful program that causes huge problem if not uninstalled via the uninstaller?
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    Your iMac and the OS will handle downloads perfectly without interference from any third party product to gum up the works.
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
