I attached a picture of exactly what I am talking about. My question is what is the easiest way to back up my Hard Drive which is about 120Gb for Partitioning. Thankyou.

Ummmm the easiest way is with the use of Time Machine and a External HardDrive ....

Or if you want a bootable clone of your HD then use SuperDuper or CarbonCopyCloner ....

Time Machine come with the Mac OS as long as its recent enough, or these other two CLONE your HD as it is on your Mac and will put it on a Ext HD so if for some reason your Int HD fails you will always be able to boot from the Ext HD with the SD or CCC clone .......Time Machine WONT Clone your Mac it will just back the files up to the Ext HD

But you will need a Ext HD as welll

Cheers

I used CarbonCopyCloner and imaged my Mac partition to a 64GB thumb drive. It boots from the thumb drive as a back up and works great.

If I may ask....how much did you have to pay for that 64 GB thumb drive? I was looking for one that size or even 32 GB and the prices were ridiculous. The one 64 GB thumb drive I saw at Office Depot cost as much or more than some external drives.

OK, thanks. They haven't come down much since then. Maybe with Apple using flash storage on the new "Air" models, prices will start to come down somewhat.
