    Database software for Mac
I have been using Microsoft ACCESS on a PC but just switched to a Mac. What would be a comparable database for the Mac?

Filemaker is excellent. I wouldn't want to use anything else.

For lighter needs, Bento is an affordable alternative (from the same company that does Filemaker).

A number of the old-school databases work as well, from 4D to MySQL to Oracle. But penegoes66's suggestion was probably the best one.
