I keep getting a warning box pop up telling me "disk not ejected properly" and that I need to insert the disk again so it can make repairs if needed.

I didn't eject anything improperly and I want to know if there is anyway of getting this pop up warning to stop? it pops up several times an hour.

Welcome to Mac-Forums!

More detail please, eg. of what sort of disk might have been used, flash drive, external hard drive, dvd or cd in optical drive etc. Was such device connected internally, or via USB or firewire?

Posting your Mac specs and OS version would be helpful too. :)

I suspect the problem is a usb flash drive connected through a usb hub but i have plug in the drive since the warnings and still the warning appears.

Mount that same USB flash drive again, directly to a port, or through the hub. Open Disk Utility, look for the drive name (the second related entry) and then click Eject. Hopefully DU will sort the OS and flash drive issue.
