Merging accounts

My wife and I set up our iMac to have two accounts to keep our work documents separate, but now we want to merge the content of iphoto, itunes, and imovie; really, that this point we would be willing to merge everything if that is easier. Any ideas?

I'm looking to do a similar thing, merge two iPhoto libraries.
Anyone know how I can do this?

Should I purchase iPhoto Library Manager?
I have pics that are in both libraries, so am trying to avoid duplicates.
