Your posting is a little "short" on information!!

- What are the specifications of your Powerbook (amount of ram & processor speed)?
- What disks are you talking about?
- Are these Mac OS install disks?
- If so, what OS version are they?
- What color are they?
- If gray colored, are they the original disks that came with your computer?

Just trying to help,

- Nick

its a G4 powerbook, 1.5ghz, 1gb ram, 80gb hdd with a superdrive
the discs are grey, i bought them seperately off ebay, they are titled "powerbook g4 15 and 17 inch sofware install and restore", mac os version 10.3.2, the second disc has "software install and restore/ Install" written on it

The grey disks are model specific...so there is always the chance that they may not work...but it sounds like by your description that they might just be the correct discs for your computer.

About all you can do is install the hard drive, insert the disk, and see if it works. The OS version you have 10.3.2...is a little on the old side...personally I would prefer version 10.4 (Tiger)...but 10.3.2 is better than nothing!;)

Good luck,

And not only a chance, hundreds to one on they will not work!

System install discs, also sold as drop in, update and upgrade discs on eBay, are silver grey coloured and will work only with the model they were sold with. Think you will find you need a full install version of Tiger, and they are a black coloured disc.
