The divx web player is broken in Safari under Snow Leopard.

Some have gotten it to work by running Safari in 32 bit mode. Many do not.

Best bet for now is to use Firefox until they can get divx updated. It is working there.

I was unsuccessful at getting any of the flash content on milledrive to play right now with error returned of content not found on server. stagevu and divx are working fine in FF.

Just to lend some support to bobtomay's suggestion, the DivX web player does not work for me when running Safari in 64-bit mode but runs like a charm in 32-bit mode (I investigated this problem for someone else). For instance, take a look at this page from the DivX website to view a sample clip. Try running Safari in 32-bit and 64-bit mode and you'll see the problem. ;)

So, the problem is independent of Safari in the sense that it's not Safari itself that's broken but rather how it's executed. As bobtomay said, either run Firefox or simply execute Safari in 32-bit mode (right click Safari > Get Info > General > "Open in 32-bit mode".

i tried both. Making Safari 32 bit. doesnt work. =( and Using firefox doesnt work either. I usually use NinjaVideo.net and stagevu.com. neither are working. should i have a certain version of DIVx cuz ninjavideo uses 6.7 or something like that.
