I appear to have Trojan Horse virus. It sent corrupted emails to everyone in my address book. Can anyone recommend Anti-Virus software?

Are you really on 10.0 - First thing i would do is upgrade your OS by doing a clean install. At least Panther but Preferrably Tiger or even Leopard better yet. It will pay off in the long run. From there don't download any dodgy software and you should be able to go without Malware problems. I have operated for years without Anti-Virus software.

There aren't many pieces of malware for OS X so let's try to figure out what you have, if anything, so we can fix this issue. What have you downloaded recently? If you've downloaded anything sketchy, you need to tell us too - in other words, we need to know of everything that you've downloaded recently including, but not limited to, email attachments and files from the internet.

While I would like to agree here, I think if he's running OS 10.0, then that system probably can't properly handle 10.3+.

Course it will not be 10.0 whatever it may be as that was purely a beta version of what was to come.

First post, no machine specs, no further info - are we being trolled?
