IMPORTANT:

The update will result in a re-indexing of your entire volume, so be warned, if you want to do a quick update then anything processor intensive, you should wait.

Thanks for the heads up to both nPuter and Zoolook. I have it installed and it's indexing away! So far working fine.

Hmm, in that case I'll hold off until I get my new hard drive this week. I'll have to index when I start fresh anyway.

The faulty NVIDIA drivers from 10.5.3 have been fixed, if anyone's interested. WoW no longer suffers from the VRAM leak, and 256-colour mode support has been restored so Diablo II can once again be played on Macs with the 8600M without needing to hack the OS. That said, some people have been reporting weird graphics artifacts in WoW after this update, so if you're using the 10.5.2 graphics update drivers to play WoW, you may not want to upgrade just yet.

I've noticed a change in the way the screen fades to black and back. Instead of an instant change, it's more gradual, kind of like how it fades when going into Front Row.
