Unhappy Empty window in Cocoa application, controls don't appear.
I'm running Xcode 4.6.1 and OS X 10.8.3 on my MacBook. In Xcode, when I create a new Cocoa application, add a control (a Rounded Rect Button, for instance) and then run the application, I get a window but it's empty, no Rounded Rect Button appears. What might I be doing wrong here?

    Thanks,
    Kerry Soileau

    Welcome to Mac-Forums

I'm using the same version of XCode and OS X. Where are you adding the Rounded Rect Button? If through IB, then you want to click on MainMenu.xib and then ensure that on the left side you click on "Window - <your application name>" and add your controls in there. By default you are looking at the "Main Menu" section which allows you create the menu for your application..

    Look below..

Raz0rEdge: That was it! I was inadvertently dropping the controls in the wrong place!

Thanks very much for your advice...
