    Hey..

I'm looking for a *.mp3 player that isn't so complex like iTunes. I'm looking for something simple like Winamp for Windows.

    Any ideas????

I'm glad you waited so long to bump the thread.

Open QuickTime and then open mp3s individually.

Try Cog; small and light, plays mostly everything. (I suggest trying out the Nightly Builds)

I'm looking for something that can light and can make playlists.

I've heard of Mac-Amp (winamp for macs) but I think its only supported by OS 9

As remain said, use cog. You can build and save playlists and it plays mostly everything.

    MacAmp is... old.

    Really old.

    Really, really old. ;p

Yeah, I was gonna say that but Cazabam beat me to it ;p

It's mainly why I suggested Cog, because it's basically like Winamp for Mac OS X.

Of course, being a relatively young program (Winamp's been out since, what, '97?),
it doesn't have Winamp's huge library of skins and plug-ins, and it's still a bit rough around the edges.

But it's coming along quite nicely in my opinion.

Oh by the way, be sure to use the latest Nightly Builds of 0.06, NOT version 0.05 (which came out long, long ago).

Download the latest version here: http://cogx.org/development.php
