    Application - previous systems?
I have this folder called previous systems. I would like to know if I can trash this? I think it's from a archive/reinstall I did. I have everything I need right now but I'm just not sure I should trash it. I looked at everything in it and some of it, I have no idea what it is and some is a duplicate of what I already have on HD.

    Specs:
    MacBook
If you have all the files and everything you need, then there is no need to keep it. Just trash what you don't need.

does that sound right tho... previous systems could have been kept as the archive from the reinstall? I never named it - it just appeared.

Yes, that is the very meaning of archive and install.
