Is there a download monitor for Mac?

I was wondering if there is a way to check how many gigabytes you have downloaded for a certain amount of time- like, for instance, I downloaded Photo Shop from my university’s website, say three days later I download a few program demos, then a few days later I dl more demos and so on- is there a program that can add all of this information together and compile it for you? The reason I need to know is so I don’t exceed UAF’s 10 GB limit, which would cause me to be disconnected until my issue is "resolved"
here is the question spawning my own question, from the UAF tech center’s FAQ:

“Q. This high speed data connections are great, is there a limit?

A. While there are technical limits the real limit is imposed by reasonable and considerate usage. UAF has imposed a soft limit of 10 Gigabytes of total transfer in a month. This provides ample bandwidth for the average user and ensures good network performance of all users. People exceeding this limit without prior permission will have their potential to consume this limited resource restricted for 30 days for the first offense. Subsequent offenses will be dealt with more firmly.”

(I’m running Mac OS X on the delicious Intel MacBook Pro and my primary internet browser is Firefox)

thanks so much for your help.

Your Mac's Specs
Imac G5, iBook, 60gb iPod Photo, iPod mini and two shuffles
If you go Safari-Window-Downloads you get a list of your downloads with size, if you clear them periodically you can manually do it but I dont think this will cover all your bandwidth use.

Thats the only way I can think of doing it but Im still a relative newbie.

I just re read your post and spotted you use firefox, I dont know if there is something similiar.
