    An example,

but I would rather do this

how can I do this in my email app, Im using Entourage

    thanks

yes but I need to use the first one in an Email (all 51 characters of it, most are longer) Id rather make it come up like the second example in my original post (much shorter and a better description) I used the tools here on this web site to do it, and figured there would be a way to do it in an Email.

    thanks

Oh I see what you mean...
    Simple:

Write down the description for your link. (I.e. "My Site")
Then select the text that should be the link and ctrl(right) click the selection.
Select "Edit link" and enter the url.

    Hey presto - you're done!

    Oh, I use Apple's mail..
I just checked entourage, but like most microsoft apps, it's a little cluttered... I couldn't see a similar option (there is a 'link to' menu command, but it only links to other entourage documents)

    Sorry!
