Hi.

I'm using a SSD and a HDD in my MacBookPro (mid 2012). By mistake i formatted the HDD.

Sorry if i'm missing something but i'm totally new to data recovery.

I downloaded Stellar Phoenix Mac Data Recovery and tried all possible recovery modes. Only the Raw Recovery shows me all my data.
Problem: The file names are replaced trough numbers. On the their website it says 'Recovers all deleted files with their original file names'. How does this work? Am I missing some settings?

Is it possible the recover this formated HDD with the original file structure and the file names? Other software?

Thanks.

Probably not. The formatting overwrote the directory where the filenames are kept. So the DR software cannot put back the names. Note that it says 'Recovers all deleted files with their original file names." But you didn't delete, you reformatted. Different things.

Had you been using Time Machine or some other backup software ...
