    Oscilloscope/audioscope app for Mac?
    I'm helping a friend build another Roland TB-303 clone called a x0xb0x.
We need an O-scope and probe to check sine and square waves on AC and DC voltage circuits.
It'll probably be easier to just purchase a used O-scope but I am curious to know if someone has an app for one.
    Cheers!

    1.8 GHz i7 MBA 11" OSX 10.8.2
    ThinkGeek :: iMSO-104 iPad Oscilloscope
Haven't tried it - but it made all the electronics trade rags.

Sorry - only thing I know of - and it's for iPad not Mac.

    Thanks for the reply Ivan.
Looks cool on an iPad but for the price I could get an actual o-scope.

For $299?? You wouldn't be able to find a good one for anything near that....

yeah.. but $299 + the cost of an Ipad you can get a nicely used o-scope.

Yeah but for $299 + the cost of an iPad = you get an iPad + an oscilloscope

    So for the same bucks:

Choice #1: Get an oscilloscope...which can only do "oscilloscope stuff".
Choice #2: Get an iPad + the oscilloscope app...which can do "oscilloscope stuff" + a lot of cool "iPad stuff"!!!

I'm sort of half-teasing...since I'm assuming a "real" oscilloscope can do more than the iPad oscilloscope app. But if I'm wrong about that...then the iPad + app. would be the better deal.

Of course I'm sure you weren't thinking of spending that sort of money either way...and just wanted a low cost (or free) oscilloscope app. to run on your Mac computer.

I found this app also... Electroacoustics Toolbox.
A bit costly but it has all the functions I need for electronics troubleshooting.
