Tracking a lost MBP

I just read a newspaper story about a lady that left her ipad2 on a Delta plane. It wasn't turned in to lost n found so with tracking software she had loaded on it she used MobileMe to find it somehow. She located it at the address of one the plane cleaners who swiped it from the seat back where she left it. She got a satellite photo of the guy's house, called the cops and they went and got him and the ipad2. Has anyone here set their Mac laptops up with this same kind of tracking security? I want to do it for my new MBP.
