Hey again All.

I had an email account that I didn't set up properly on MacMail.... I no longer use this anyway and want to delete the account on MacMail... but when I highlight the account and go to the Mailbox tab, and click on 'delete mailbox'... it doesn't go away.

How do I erase this mailbox so it doesn't appear in MacMail?

That is the key. If you want to delete the account, you'll need to do it the same way you added it.

Open up Mail (not MacMail btw) - Preferences - Accounts - highlight the account and click on the minus sign at the bottom.

As for the 'MacMail'.... this is what a mac user who helped me start of with the iMac called it... so my apologies for the forepart
