    Need help installing freeware
So, I'm downloading this 3-part application (freeware app), and I'm having trouble installing it. Here's details:

    - The file names are: ffi11.zip.001 and ffi11.zip.002 and ffi11.zip.003
    - I have downloaded BetterZip for extraction
    - At one point, I managed to extract the dmg and install it, but when I tried to open it it would start up, pop up, then stop responding.
    - I know that others have successfully installed it.
    - I am using 10.6 OS.

Could anyone pleeease guide me through the process of extraction and installing?

Could you give us the link for the software download so we can have a look for ourselves?

    Cheers

Yes links to the free ware site would help. It seems like it was an incomplete download, which is why the DMG won't mount, or it did not unzip fully.

If the download is three zipped files, they need to be concatenated (put together) before they'll form into a good image file. Most of the free zip and unzip programs have a way to do this.
