    Specs:
MacBook Pro on OS X Mavericks
I keep getting a Time Machine error.
Whenever I try to run a Time Machine back up, I get an error message that says, "Time Machine could not complete the backup." The rest of the message says, "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while creating the backup folder."

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Have you had it working in the past, or is this the first time you have tried to backup using Time-Machine and the media you are backing up to?

I have always been backing it up. I have just now started to experience problems with it.

Have you done a disk repair and repair permissions on the drive? You can do that through, Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility, click your time machine hdd, click First Aid tab, click Repair Disk, once complete click repair permissions.
See if this helps at all. Also check how much space you have left on your external hdd.
