I'm having a little bother getting a new Time Capsule password into Time Machine...

Yesterday I bought an Apple TV. Long story short, I had a little bother getting it to connect to my Time Capsule. I rang Apple support, they had me modify a few security settings, during which I changed the password from the original "wheel-barrow" password I had set-up to something a little more immediately memorable whilst going through the set-up process.

Now Time Machine is giving me gyp! I've reset the password everywhere I can think of or find, but still Time Machine doesn't seem to want to accept it. Can anyone offer any advice please?

It might be a keychain glitch. Open the "keychain access.app" from applications, utilities. Find the entry for Time Machine and delete it. If there's one there for the Time Capsule, delete it also. Make copies of the lines you delete first - just in case.

After deleting those entries, you can set the passwords again. Let's see if that fixes it. I've had to that myself for the same kind of glitch with an Airport password and it fixed it.
