how do you qualify 'free'? Do you mean usable with no cost, or totally free?

i found a nice shareware one called iGetter, which has annoying payment reminders and a slightly kludgy interface - but as someone who uses getright on windows, iGetter is at least on par with that POS.

(just my $0.02)

/me hates you - I live in a backwater where broadband costs an arm and a leg, so all we have is old faithful 56k (more like 48, but i digress)

My internet is pretty good. Its around 350 KBPS DSL. But for those really monstrous files id like something good. And I would rather have something totally free. Id feel like I was scarring my beautifull powerbook if I had those annoying pop up ad things in a DM.
