I am using a G4 desktop in a business and, although I should buy a new Intel, the current economy does not support that [particularly since I am unemployed], I am electing to keep the G4 going.

I just purchased RAM for it today. I consider upgrading from 10.2.8. I run Photoshop and Indesign, along with Office and Filemaker pro. These applications all work with my 10.2.8.

I consider upgrading as far as I can and still be able to run these applications. I would also like to acquire a version of Acrobat that would run on my machine.

Is there a best way to try to find a used example of Acrobat? Also, would a person be able to get whatever more recent upgrades or patches that were issued by Adobe?

Thank you.

If you're running 10.2.8, your options are extremely limited.

Since you didn't include ANY version information about the software you're using, that's about all the help we can give you. If you would like to fill in the crucial missing details, we might be able to do more for you.

These are the versions:

Main software:
Adobe InDesign CS 3.0.1
Adobe Photoshop CS 8.0
Microsoft Office X, Service release 1
Filemaker Pro: 6.0 and 7.0v2

Cheaper to replace:
Toast 5.2.1
SilverKeeper 1.1.4
Text Soap 3.2.2

Thank you....
