Dictionary in WORD

I'm running the latest MS Office for the Mac on my MacBook. When I'm in a document and go to "Spelling," it won't let me ADD a new word to my dictionary. It only gives me the option of "Accept" or "Ignore." How can I add new words to my spelling dictionary? TIA.

If I remember correctly, you have to create a new custom dictionary in order to add words. It is under preferences but I can't remember and I have since removed Office as it never worked all that great for me and I have it on my Bootcamp side.
