    Hello,

I like to use this program:

Apple - Downloads - Home & Learning - Babylon Mac

I can not install offline dictionary
Free Dictionaries and Encyclopedias by Babylon

    What could be the reason?

    Smile It works for me
Babylon works well for me, with the German-English and French-English dictionaries. However, I bought Babylon and the dictionaries from Babylon in Israel.

What are doing when you attempt to install the program and dictionaries? It's hard to give useful feedback without that information.

    Hello blswhite,

    I use Mac OS X 10.5.8

Babylon is installed but if I install offline dictionary nothing happens.
At my setting I can see '0 installed dictionary'

EDIT: How do you install a dictionary?

    Bug in program
    Hello microsun,

It appear that there is a bug in Babylon mac. I get the same message that you do, but the dictionaries are in fact installed.

I just downloaded the free Babylon English-Italian dictionary. When I double clicked on the dictionary it installed itself, but the Preferences pane still showed 0 dictionaries installed.

It seems that I was wrong!

I have just reinstalled the 4 dictionaries that I had bought earlier (they require a password for registrarion) and 2 free dictionaries.

Babylon preferences now shows 6 dictionaries installed.

To install them I double clicked on the dictionary files.

I'm sorry, this doesn't help you much. You could email Babylon, who are generally responsive

    Hello biswhite,

thanks you for your answer. It's some days ago but could you try to find the dictionary folder on babaylon.app Open this with right mouse click and select the second point from top.
