Mail/Entourage Question

I guess this could technically be a general email question. Since moving back home for the summer from school, I have been unable to send email from my school account because the server does not allow you to unless you are on campus. I tried using my .Mac account's outgoing smtp server as my outgoing server for my school mail, but it does not work. I'm sure many of you have had a problem like this, and I would really appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks

It depends on who your isp is.. many isp's these days only allow you to use their smtp server. I use Cox now and they only allow me to send mail through their smtp server, while I used to be on Road Runner before I moved and I could use my own. So check with your ISP.

i tried using my ISP outgoing smtp server, but it didnt work. does anyone els have any ideas? thanks for the effort Murlyn
