    Mail: 2 of 2 ????
I've recently noticed something odd when I send messages from my Gmail account via Mail. When I send a single message, the Mail Activity progress bar in the lower left hand of the screen briefly flashes "2 of 2" before sending the message. I don't suppose that there's a chance that something has infected Mail on my machine and it's now sending a duplicate copy of my emails somewhere is there?

Nope... none at all. There are no viruses that infect OS X.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

Is there a chance that the behavior I'm seeing in Mail is reflecting something that's occurring that's happening on the Gmail end?
