OK, if this is obvious, I apologize in advance. I have 2 users on my Mac and I want to share the same iPhoto library. Using one account, I've moved the library from the user account to the "shared" folder. When the other user logs in, he cannot access the library.

I've checked permissions, added and changed the folder and file permissions to read/write and checked sharing on iphoto. what am I missing? I did the same for iTunes (per Mac help) and it worked great. Is there something specific with iPhoto?

I don't know if you ever got an answer anywhere else but, I just did this and the answer is that you have to actually select to import photos from the shared folder. I'm just hoping that whenever I put files/folders (pics) in to the shared folder, that iPhoto will automatically pick that up and import them. Somehow I doubt that will be the case, if my experience with iTunes is any indication, since I think they both work the same way.
