Hi,

I am in the process of getting my backup system in place. I understand that superduper creates bootable clones and I was wondering if it is possible to go the clone and just copy files from it. For example, just wanting to copy the itunes library.

Thanks!

Yes Superduper can be made bootable. PowerPC's require the external drive be set up as Apple Partition Map formatted and have Firewire connections. Intel will also boot from USB2.

You would not have to boot from the drive. Connect up and it will appear on the desktop, double click to open and go to your files and simply drag to the desktop to copy.
