I own a MacBook and just recently the audio and video has become jumpy and my whole computer seems slower than usual. It doesn't matter what program I'm using its always the same. iTunes, VLC, Quicktime etc. all produce this scratchy, stuttering sound which in turn makes the video look terrible. Headphones do not help. The weird part is that the sound becomes fine whenever I move the mouse using the trackpad. If anyone knows what is happening any help would be appreciated.
