Hello

I am a first time Podcaster/Blogger and I searched for this a few times, but dident come up with anything solid..

Anyhow, I own and run a small clothing company with some friends, and to help promote our most recent design contest (We like to feature local, well-known, underground artists work on limited edition prints). It was suggested to us to start a company blogg, and add Podcasts to it.

So my question is, which blogg service is the most podcast friendly? Its basically a toss-up between Livejournal and Blogg.com (Blogg.com was the one Apple mentions in their Podcast guide).

I like Livejournals facebook features, but I cannot ignore the fact that apple references Blogg.com

So any advice would be much appreciated here.

Thank you!

no, i run everything media based for my company off of a sever that is exclusive to me, not sharing with the world so I really don't have any advice on live journal or blogg.com for that reason.. good luck starting your company!

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I don’t have a dedicated company server (yet) My website is being built and eventually hosted by a third party.

I wanted to use a public forum such as a Blogging service to promote for a few reasons. Basically it is a recognizable to my target market and maintains the guerrilla style marketing campaign we have running.

I think most people use their own servers, allot of people use Wordpress. Wordpress is my "blogging" software of choice. Wordpress is very adaptive, you can have it run online stores, CMS, podcast, regualr website etc. It's very versatile, there are plug-ins that allow you to post mp3's directly into your posts, the users can listen to them through the site.

Have a look at this, it's an example of what I'm talking about.

There is another one,
