    How to Record Internet Radio
I've been testing out many recording applications, trying to record Internet radio, but when I open up the recording files, I can't hear anything.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried these applications so far:

    *
    o Amadeus
    o Audacity
    o Audio Hijack Pro
    o Audiocorder
    o Final Vinyl
    o Recorderxhead

All these applications seem to be working, recording the sound from Internet radio, but I can't hear anything when I play the files. There must be a setting that I'm missing .... but what is it?

You didn't answer the question. What application are you using to listen to Sirius with?

Audio Hijack Pro should work fine for that. I suggest you give it another try.

Two others to try are FStream in place of FireFox, and WireTap Pro (now Studio), which will record ANYTHING playing through your Mac.

A-ha! Welcome to the club! My long-term project is to record all my precious analog audio tapes, and some LP's, in digital format. Here's how:

Yeah, this is actually my primary use of Audio Hijack Pro -- digitising cassette tapes.

I use an iMic from Griffin Technology ($40 I think?) and AHP, works great (well as great as old crappy cassettes CAN sound ...)

I clicked on the link to other related links, but the link is broken.

Thanks for the link on how to record tapes. I'll check that out, and see if I can get it working .... I need to hurry ... Some of my cassette tapes are already fading, and some songs are damaged
