    Help with iMovie
    I need help with my project. How do i get videos from Youtube to my MacBook Pro?

    Someone else owns the copyright to those youtube videos so the first step would be to ask the copyright owner for permission

    The easiest way to do this (if your using safari) is to go to the website where the video is and then go to window and then activity.

    Now make sure the video is still loading (in youtube this is shown by a red bar) and double click on the biggest file size in the activity window.

    add the extension .flv to the downloaded file

    you can watch it with VLC or change the format using Mpeg Streamclip
