    Slide Show For Television
This is what I'm trying to do now. I want to put a slide show on a disk @ then play it on TV. I burned some pictures to a DVD+R & put in in my DVD player just to see what would happen. My DVD player wouldn't read it. I'm just experimenting!

    Specs:
15" Unibody MBP 2.4 Ghz C2D, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, 320 GB Time Machine HDD, 1 TB Ext Media Drive
You could create an iPhoto or iMovie project and see if it will allow you to do a slideshow-type presenation.

If you just burn photos on a DVD and stick it in the DVD player,

    1. You must first finalize the DVD to make it readible by an end-user player and
    2. Your DVD player must have a slideshow functionality when it detects a bunch of picture files.

"Finalizing" a disc is an option often disguised as "Make this disc ready for use in other players" or something of the like, I'm sure you've seen it in burning programs before.
