• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hi, I use a PC app called DVBviewer to view freesat & freeview TV channels on a PC (in the UK).
Has anyone had any experience with TV capture hardware for a MAC.
Also have used WindowsMediaCentre in Windows7.

Not sure where to start with a Mac

Look here to understand what I do.

Cheers

Looks a quality product. I use a Dual Tuner (PCI-express) from BlackGold. DVB-T and have impeccabible reception via an aerial in the loft. I have tried a couple of USB tuners but both were not up to the job. By the way had a look at the specs of the EyeTV and it does not mention DVB-T2 which is the newer DVB transmission standard ? Can this handle HD channels ? Do you have one yourself?
