Final Cut Studio on a PowerBook G4?
My question is this: I currently a 15'' PowerBook G4 1.5ghz/64vram/1.5Gb's Ram/80GB HD/250GB LaCie external HD. I just upgraded the ram from stock 512 to 1.5gbs and bought the 250GB LaCie external HD. Now im hoping that I can comfortably run Final Cut Studio, Because im pretty sure a G5 will not be floating my way anytime soon...

Do you think ill be safe?

    Thanks,
    Michael

    Specs:
    MacBook
Why wouldn't it be safe? That is what PowerBooks are designed for.

    It runs great.

Rendering a lot of video at once will get it very very hot, however. Consider trying to get some air to the underside of the Powerbook.
    I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.

Ya, that's about the only issue you'll have.
I'd use Windows... but I like the Mac OS more.

I use to use it all the time for final cut studio until i got my quad powermac..It worked well for me the only complaint I had was render time was insane.. but you just wait it out, and it works just as fine as any other computer would.
