AverMedia HD DVR Software for Mac?
I am planning on getting this, but I don't want to have to use windows to use it, I want to use my Mac. Does anyone know any software I can use? If you did it would help a lot, thanks.

The HD DVR is not software. It is video capture hardware.

The most often recommended video capture hardware for the Mac is by El Gato, called EyeTV. A quick google will find them at the top of the list.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

Don't have a clue, as you have not told us what it is you're trying to do or what you're trying to do it with.

Then you're going to need to purchase a video capture card.

Why are you stuck on the Avermedia brand? Seems like a no-name company, even in the Windows world.

Elgato has a video capture solution that should work for recording video from game systems.

    Elgato Video Capture

There's more to it than just software as bobtomay mentioned - you need hardware to actually import the video.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
