    Quicktime Videos Shrunk?
A couple of years ago I took a bunch of video with my hand-held digital camera. I put them on my Mac a while back and they looked fine.

When I open them up now though they are really tiny, like one inch square. If I try to enlarge them they are really blurry.

Any ideas as to what may have happened, how they can be fixed?
I'm looking at the exact same files as a few years ago. Even the backups on my external drive are doing this.

To even start analyzing this, I think you should open one up in QuickTime Player and do a get info (Command-I) to review the specs.

I can't think of any setting that would do a blanket conversion. So the files are likely fine unless someone did do a conversion.

Found the issue. I was looking at all the versions that had been imported as iMovie thumbnails...they were .MOV.

My original files were in another location (external HD) and in .AVI format. The .AVI's were perfect.
