    Specs:
    MacBook
If you bought your Mac from Apple, then you should already have iMovie.
    No need to download anything.

    It somehow disappeared by accident...

I must've trashed a part of its program by accident at one point and all I was left with was a question mark over the imovie icon on the desktop, secure empty trash was done and 35pass...

The icon ended up in the bin when i realized the program was gone...

Downloading it now, shame I didn't think of it before. I thought there'd be something else, didn't know it did that editing thing. What a great laptop
    Still amazes me.

ok, I'm having a problem, I downloaded 7.1.4 of imovie but it alerts me that an eligable imovie application was not found in the location applications....

    what can i do?

I feel quite bummed now about that and embarrassed.

If Someone can please help me out with that I would be so grateful.

Again, there's no need to download anything.
    Just use your restore discs.
It should be on Disc 2.

If you have your restore discs, then you WILL have it.

Use a program called Pacifist to locate and install iMovie from your restore discs.

You don't need Pacifist - you can customize the install and select only iMovie.

In Finder do a search for iMovie. If it's installed it will find it; if not, re-install is easy enough.

I'd recommend going with iMovie if you can get it back on your machine.
