    Specs:
    g4 mdd 1.42 dpp 2 gig ram 80g hd leopard 10.5.8
    .srt subtitles
    hi... im trying to burn an avi and srt files with toast but it says .srt are unsupported but its the needed subs for the film..... how do i burn this?

    Late 2013 rMBP, i7, 750m gpu, OSX versions 10.9.3, 10.10
    I don't think iDVD supports subtitles the way you need them.

    You can try to author with ffmpegx (I've heard it can be done, but I have no idea how) or try Moviegate ( Home ) which does support .srt subtitle files.
