    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. Don't use Pinnacle dazzle. I just got one and the software it came with is terrible. I'm looking into something on Ebay, and it seems like I have a good chance at getting something waaay better and at a cheaper price.

Hi there,

I'm trying to digitize VHS-C Tapes ---> VHS-C - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <---
onto my iMac! I have the adapter tape that they show on that site. Just wondering if anyone has done this before? Or has any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!!!

Brad

I converted about a dozen VHS-C tapes using a Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick (801e) and EyeTV software from Elgato. Elgato also sells tuners and a device (Elgato Video Capture) that is designed to do exactly what you want.

Personally, I'd go with a tuner since after you are finished, you'll be able to watch TV on your Mac.
