    iMovie 09 question
Brand new Mac user looking for help with iMovie. I've spent a long time learning/teaching myself how to make a movie using the iMovie 09 software but need to change the format of the newly created movie so I can upload it on a website.

Because iMovie automatically saves the projects, I have no idea how to re-format it!

    Help!

    Specs:
    MBP 15", 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, OS X 10.8.2, iPad 1, 80gb iPod, ATV 1, iPhone 5
It depends on where you are uploading it to. If it is for youtube you can click on "Share" on the menu bar and select youtube or any of the other sites that are supported and it will do it automaticly. For other places you still go to share and select export using quicktime and pick your settings and a place to export to. Then upload that file.

If you mean you want to change the aspect ratio of the project, then File-->Project Properties is where you make that change.

If you are talking about an exported version of your movie, then see my iMovie Export guide because it is too long to explain yet again here.

When asking questions, post the version of your software. You'll receive better answers.
