    How to join file in Mac
    I'm a brand new mac user, just have no idea how to join movies files (xxx.mkv.001, .002, .003 etc) to watch. I used to use File splitter & joiner on Windows but can't install it to Mac of course. Can u guys tell me what to do, thanks.

    Well you can import all your movies into one "event" in iMovie. That's what I would do.

    Those files sound like split RAR or ZIP files. Get your self the free version of stuffit expander. Install. Then double click on the matching RAR or ZIP file. If there isn't one just double click on the first file (001 etc).

    I suppose you could use the terminal command 'cat', like so;

    cat xxx.mkv.001 xxx.mkv.002 xxx.mkv.003 > mynewfile

    I don't know if this is really applicable to this problem since I don't understand the file details.
