    Removing website data
    Hi Reiner,
I just figured this out after much frustration. I hope this works for you.

    Go to Finder
Click on Go at the top menu
Press Options on keyboard and Library will show up under Go
    Click on Library
    Go to Safari folder
    Then Databases folder
    Then _IndexDB folder
What ever is listed in that folder, highlight, right click and move to trash.
    It worked!
I discovered this after a lot of searching.
    Good luck.

Thank you MTgirl!!! You are brilliant! Your instructions worked and I thank you for taking the time to figure it out. Much appreciated. I knew there had to be a way. I couldn't believe some of the advise I was getting, like stay off the internet if you don't like these databases.

I'm glad it worked. I was annoyed at some of the responses as well. I knew there had to be a way.

Thumbs up Can not remove website data
Was having the same problem. THANK YOU MTgirl for posting this. I spent almost 2 days on the phone with Apple to the point where they told me that there is nothing more to do until a new update with a fix comes up.
