    "PAD" files for software submissions
    I used to write Windows apps, we would generate this "PAD" file to submit software to sites like CNET. Does anyone know if Mac apps also use this? I'm not able to find any information on this online.

    You use CNET? Sorry not much support for that here.
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
