    Removing alias accounts from Mail
I set up an additional mail account but can't remember how to delete it. I have received at this alias e-mail address what must be a scam saying that I have set up a subscription to youtube red, which is not available in the UK. It invites me to click in to cancel the subscription, something I want to avoid doing so I have deleted it. I also want to delete the alias.

    Hi Alwyn

Open your preferred Web Browser, go to and sign in.

Then Click on the Gear icon and choose Preferences.

    Then Click Accounts

Here you will see all your email accounts. Click on the Alias and choose Disable or Delete.

Delete is obvious - it's gone for good.

Disable means the sender gets a non-delivery notice and you don't get anything. You can re-enable that account in the future if you wish.

    Hope that helps.
